Al-Hijr
IN THE NAME OF GOD, THE MOST GRACIOUS, THE DISPENSER OF GRACE[15:2]
And it will come to pass that those who are [now] bent on denying this truth will wish that they had surrendered themselves to God [in their lifetime].

* v.2 : Since this revelation – i.e., the Qur’ān – is clear in itself and clearly shows the truth, those who deliberately reject it now will have no excuse on Resurrection Day. As so often in the Qur’ān, the past tense in the expression alladhīna kafarū is indicative of conscious intent (see sūrah 2, note 6).
